Thanks to one of my sales rep, my bike has been posted up for sale on a local Facebook group (which one I couldn’t tell you because I’m not on Facebook) for about 5 days now. I put it up on eBay Classifieds today. Will post it elsewhere later.

I know these are somewhat odd ways of putting something up for sale, but there is a method to my madness: I have surgery in less than a week — nasal. So I figured just putting out some feelers for now since my surgery will have me laid up on the couch for at least a week.

Regardless, I hope that someone out there would be interested in a relatively cheap motorcycle.

EDIT: OMG, I AM LOSING MY MIND!!!

I must be stressed out due to my pending surgery. My price is waaaaaayyyy off. Will fix it ASAP. Feel free to continue with your snark until then.

Good luck. I’ve had mine listed off and on for about a year now, lots of inquiries, but no sale yet.

Plenty of Craigslist people wanting to offer 90% off asking and CycleTrader leads telling me they have to sell such and such first before they have the cash.

It hasn’t been consistent, I lost interest after a month or two and let the ads lapse, then just put it back up again like a month ago.

no disrespect intended, but owners don’t just strip the fairings for no reason. there is a very, very high chance that you are asking $1750 for a 23 year old bike that has gone down with no idea what the actual mileage is. good luck with the sale, but that’s honestly a crackpipe price.

That’s what “OBO” is for. And the rest of the gear to go with it.

From what I was told, the first owner had a lowside crash which cracked some of the fairing. So the second owner decided he wanted something unique, hence the fairings being striped and for whatever reason, the speedo and fuel gauge.

At any rate, frame’s straight and the title clean. And better than picking up a salvaged bike for 1-2K more.

Price change to a more realistic starting price of $1299 or OBO.

...pending surgery stressing me out.
